First things first, plop how ever many jars you can fit into a pot of water. Next, add a little dish soap and bring the water to a boil.

The next step is really simple! You need to allow the jars to sit in the boiling water until you notice the labels start to fall off on their own.

Step #3

This is my least favorite step! However, luckily for you, I’ve figured out a way to make it pretty painless. The last step is to get all the glue residue off the glass.

Not all jars will be glue-free once they’ve been boiled. If you have glue remnants on your glass jars, rub the glue with baking powder to remove the remaining glue bits. For good measure you can do another quick rinse with hot water and some dish soap just to make sure you didn’t miss any spots.
