St. Patrick’s Day is typically seen as a fun, but kids only (unless you’re making a pub crawl!!) holiday. There’s an easy way for your family to spend some time together, have fun, and make something unique. Using this simple slime recipe you can make countless varieties of slime, allowing you to make one big batch for your family, or make smaller unique batches for each family member. Here’s how to make St. Patrick’s Day slime.
How To Make St. Patrick’s Day Slime
Gather Your Slime Making Supplies!
Green Food Coloring (optional)
Water
Two Bowls
Step One
In one of your bowls, mix 1/4 cup of water with 1 ounce of glue. This is also the time to add food coloring to your mixture if you choose to do so (it can make for a fun change from your typical slime). Stir together with a stir stick.
Step Two
Now add 1/4 cup of Borax to your glue and water mixture and stir these ingredients together slowly. You want to make sure everything is well combined.
Step Three
As you stir the borax into your water and glue mixture, you’ll see the texture slowly change. Keep stirring.
Step Four
Once the stirring becomes difficult, work the ingredients with your hands until it is less sticky. This can be a great opportunity to get your kids really involved with the slime making process.
Step Five
If you have any leftover water in the bowl, go ahead and dump it out.
Step Six
Add your St. Paddy’s Day special ingredients into the slime and knead with your fingers. That’s it! I told you it was that easy!!
