Is someone you care about graduating? Show them how proud you are with any one of these graduation gift ideas.
Is
I love this time of year! It’s so exciting to see young people in the world graduating from high school or college. Graduation always signals the start of a new adventure, and it really is so magical to see them start to figure things out. In the next few weeks, two of my nephews are graduating from high school and one of my nieces from college. To celebrate, I plan on giving each of them one of the fabulous gifts below. If only I could decide which ones they’d like best. Here are some great gift giving ideas for the graduates to be!

Graduation Gift Ideas
Money
In my experience, there isn’t a grad out there who wouldn’t like a bit of cash as a graduation gift. Cash is wonderful because new grads can use it for whatever they need to, whether it be college expenses or on a fun Summer vacation to commemorate the milestone. Here are some cute ways to give money as a gift.Â

DIY Quilt
If your high school graduate is moving away to start college, or your college graduate is off to start their professional life, a DIY quilt from home is always a much-needed item. While this graduation gift will require months of planning and preparation, it’s such a meaningful gift that will be remembered for a lifetime. I love the idea of gathering old t-shirts from high school or college and creating a quilt out of those. Oh, the memories!

A Planner
You can never be too organized when setting out on a new life adventure. Truly. It isn’t possible. To help your grad start things off on the right (organized) foot, gift them a new planner and send them on their way.

Graduation Gift Ideas: Vacation
Though this gift idea isn’t the most inexpensive, a vacation is a great way to reward tired students and celebrate their accomplishments. See if you can even go in on the cost of plane tickets, or something similar with multiple family members. My senior vacation was so magical, and I hope to be able to take my own kids on one someday!
Â
Dorm Room Essentials
High school graduates need a TON of stuff when it comes to starting college. Gift your grad a basket full of all the needed items like laundry detergent, dryer sheets, an iron/ironing board, a hot plate, a microwave or mini fridge, and even a shower caddy stocked full of their favorite products. Seriously, you can’t start school without a hearty supply of all of this good stuff!
Â
Starbucks or Other Fast Food Gift Cards
Busy students eat out a lot, and they certainly need lots of coffee to keep them going when things get tough! For graduation, gift them a collection of fast food gift cards. If they’re headed off to college, I’m sure their food court has a lot of these fast food options anyway.
