I grew up reading Dr. Seuss with my grandmother. In fact, Dr. Seuss’ birthday is a mere day after mine, so I loved when my school would throw the yearly Read-Athons in his honor. Though, for a bit, I wanted to believe they were celebrating me. Either way, it was an excuse to read and I absolutely loved it.
