If you just got the exciting news that you are expecting another member of your family to arrive sometime within the next 8 months, you’re probably pretty excited. One of the most exciting parts of finding out that you are expecting is sharing the exciting news with your loved ones. And Valentine’s Day is the best day to share the news. Here are a few of my favorite Valentine’s Day pregnancy announcement ideas.
Valentine’s Day Pregnancy Announcement Sibling
Getting ready to share the news with a sibling? Why not make them a sweetheart cake with your special message spelled out inside? To create, make your own heart-shaped cake in whatever flavor you would like. Decorate it with different colored candy hearts and spell out a message using edible ink that says when the baby is due. Add in a photo of your ultrasound. You could even hand-deliver it to their house on the big day.
Valentine’s Day Pregnancy Announcement Grandparents
Though my husband and I were thrilled to find out that we were expecting, both of our parents seemed a lot more excited than we were. Because both of our parents LOVE a good bottle of wine, we created special wine labels that announced our big surprise. My parents ALWAYS look at the label when they are gifted a bottle, so they noticed this pretty quickly. You can bet they all celebrated with a glass, despite the fact that I was stuck with sparkling cider.

Valentine’s Day Pregnancy Announcement for Husband
My husband and I found out that I was pregnant at the same time, but it doesn’t work out that way for some couples. If you’re excited to share the news with your husband, send him a special Valentine’s Day card that tells him the news. The cute idea below can be found on Etsy. Just make sure you get a recording of his reaction upon reading it!
Valentine’s Day Pregnancy Announcement With Dog
Dogs are a hugely important part of ANY family. So why not include them in the baby announcement fun? I like the idea of incorporating the family dog into the pregnancy announcement. A cute way to do so is to have your dog stand by a message board with a cheeky message like ” It’s official I’m getting a sister.” You could even add in some balloons. Take a photo and post it on social media. This is a cute way to surprise all of your social media friends.
