One of my favorite parts of the holidays is sitting around the fire and watching Hallmark Christmas movies with my family. These cheesy, feel-good movies are only accepted during this time of the year, and I cannot get enough. And what’s great is that there is a Hallmark movie for just about every occasion. Below, you can find some of my favorites!
Hallmark Christmas Movies For Kids
When kids are around, you’ve got to be careful about the movies that you pick! Fortunately, all of these are holiday-appropriate AND kid-friendly.
The Night Before The Night Before Christmas: Surely your kiddos have always wondered what Santa does the night before the big night. There’s got to be tons of preparation! But when Santa loses his memory and bag of presents two days before the big night, how ever will he make it work?
Other Christmas Classics: Though they weren’t produced by Hallmark, you can’t go wrong if you show kid-friendly movies like Rudolf, Frosty, or even the Little Drummer Boy. These films are on a loop throughout the holidays.
Hallmark Christmas Movies For Families
A Christmas Carol: When a scrooge is haunted by the ghosts of his past, his outlook toward Christmas drastically changes. This is a Christmas classic, but the ghost might be a little scary for some young kids.
I’ll Be Home For Christmas: A single Mom reconnects with an old flame to give her child the best Christmas ever. This is definitely a feel-good film!
Hallmark Christmas Movies For Parties
These Hallmark Christmas movies are the perfect thing to have on in the background of your next party.
The Christmas Secret: With a classic romance and a whirlwind story, this Christmas movie will leave you feeling tingly and ready for the season. Plus, this movie stars Bethany Joy Lenz, you may have seen her in One Tree Hill.
The Perfect Christmas Present: Tom has a gift. He can buy the perfect Christmas present for any recipient. But when he gets too close to someone, it could change everything that he knows about the season.
